Support Our Ministry's Mission

At Abiding Light Church, your giving makes a meaningful impact both locally and globally. Financial contributions help sustain the day-to-day ministry and operations of our church, allowing us to continue serving our community with care and consistency. Beyond our own congregation, a portion of every gift supports trusted ministry partners who are doing vital work in other regions. We also invest in mission efforts throughout Edmonton and around the world, sharing hope, meeting practical needs, and extending the love of Christ to those who need it most.

Join Our Community Efforts

Some of the ways our ministry is actively making a difference include partnering with a local outreach that serves the homeless every Sunday in Edmonton. Through this partnership, food, clothing, and essential supplies are distributed to those in need, and we are committed to supporting this effort by donating food each week.

We also support Camp Living Water, where we are currently raising funds to help First Nations children attend camp at no cost. This initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for them to experience community, encouragement, and learn more about Jesus in a supportive environment.

In addition, we are involved in global missions, including helping build a church in India and raising funds for future trips to continue sharing the gospel and supporting local communities there.

Through these efforts, your giving directly impacts lives—meeting practical needs, strengthening communities, and sharing hope both locally and around the world.

We are currently in the process of obtaining charitable status through the Government of Canada. While this application is underway, we are not yet able to issue tax receipts for donations.

We understand this may be an important consideration, but we encourage you not to let it discourage your generosity. Giving is an act of faith and worship, and Scripture reminds us of the importance of giving with a willing and cheerful heart. Your support continues to make a real difference in the work God is doing through our ministry.
